Eh, I'm not really a football fan - we do usually have a Superbowl party, but most everyone is there for the food and the commercials. My ex-husband was a Dallas Cowboys fanatic, and back in the day, I had a huge crush on Troy Aikman, but now the Cowboys just conjure up bad memories, even 14 years later. (Betcha y'all didn't know I was married before did you? It was relatively brief, and despite all the turmoil and drama, I don't regret it, as it made me the person I am today, and that's all I'll say about that for now.)
I do like to watch college basketball, and was shocked to find out my current workplace doesn't get as wrapped up in March madness as my last one! I also like to watch most sports in person, even football, but especially hockey.
Locally, Tulsa has a minor league baseball team, the Tulsa Drillers, an arena football team, the Tulsa Talons, and a CHL hockey team, the Tulsa Oilers. We also have two universities, Oral Roberts University and the University of Tulsa, both of which have basketball teams. TU also has a football team, and ORU has a baseball team. Both schools obviously have other sports teams, but these are the teams that usually make the news.
