I'm tired, probably a result of cold medicine I started taking today. My resistance must be really down, because I just started having a bit of a sore throat late last night, and by the time I woke up this morning, it was a full blown head cold.
Tonight is normally my stitching night, but it got cancelled because so many people had other plans. This is usually my only free night, so I was bound and determined to get out of the house! I went by the drug store to get more meds, picked up our photo Christmas cards, then set out for the LYS that is open until 8:00. Well, being the night before Thanksgiving, they closed early today (and who can blame them), so I ended up at Borders and then Barnes & Noble. I guess I'm a little shy about knitting in public, at least by myself, because I didn't take the knitting into either store. Now I'm back home, trying to figure out (in the current state my brain is in) what order the food needs to start cooking tomorrow.
We are just doing a small ham tomorrow for the four of us, and then Saturday is the full blown turkey dinner extravaganza at our house for the in-laws. Actually tomorrow night we are getting together at a local pizza joint for a surprise birthday dinner for my mother-in-law.
I do hope to get in a lot of knitting time in the next four days, plus a little bit of stash organization / cleanup, both knitting and quilting. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving for those of you in the States, and safe travels for everyone hitting the road this holiday!

My husband and I went to the movies tonight but saw different movies. Sit in a movie theater by yourself knitting and you really develop a tough shell.
Aww I hope you're feeling better by now! It's so nice to have a quiet little dinner at home. Have a wonderful time with the family over tomorrow and best wishes for LOTS OF KNITTING to be accomplished during the weekend. :)
